What on earth has happened to good taste? More than 8000 people voted in an online survey of 23 shoes for the world’s sexiest pair. And the winner is…a particularly ugly pair of Christian Louboutins. A transparent ivory colour and embellished with Swarovski crystals, the shoes are supposedly the most desirable pair in the world. We’re all for democracy but we can’t say we agree with the results.(via nymag)

Stefano Gabbana has claimed on Twitter that he doesn’t know who Stella McCartney is. He can’t be serious? One of the most famous English designers at the moment, McCartney has managed to step out of her father’s shadow and make a name for herself in her own right. Even people who don’t work in the industry have heard of Stella McCartney, which makes Gabbana’s statement all the more ludicrous! Gold and leopard print galore, the appartment’s most notable feature is possibly its room entirely dedicated to the fashionista’s 3000 pairs of shoes !
