With the end of summer approaching, we’ve been thinking about Doc Martens – that faithful winter staple. After a collaboration with fashion label, Comptoir des Cotonniers, the orthopaedic shoe brand have now teamed up with Jean-Paul Gaultier. Artistic Director at Dr. Martens, Andrew Bunney, gives us a sneak preview on his blog.
More daring than Comptoir des Cotonniers, JPG gives the 1.4.60 boot a complete makeover with rock’n’roll diamond cutouts at the ankle. The boots will be available for women in black and white.
We can’t decide whether we prefer the rock chic of JPG’s designs or the more wearable boots from Comptoir des Cotonniers…?
